Office of the Marshal of Imperial Security,
To General de Division,
The resistance proves more varied than first believed. Not merely peasants, but priests, women, and even children have joined the rebellion. They strike in scattered bands, united only by the name of the Shrike.
Such diversity renders them difficult to predict, and harder still to crush. Caution is urged.
Respectfully,
Capitaine Deschamps,
Imperial Army of France
